WELCOME
My name is Bill Young. I'm an amateur photographer in Corvallis, Oregon. I do portrait, landscape, and still-life photography. This site is the showcase for my best work. I post other stuff on my blog, Flickr, Facebook, and Twitter. I get an occasional paid gig every now and then, but mostly photography is my creative outlet from my day job, which is somewhat more technical and generally makes people's eyes glaze over when I make the mistake of trying to describe it.

Winston fly rods, Nikon cameras, the movie "Crash", Oregon in Autumn, Montana anytime but winter, Bruce Springsteen, the light when the sun breaks through in the middle of a storm, Barack Obama, NPR, and watching a nice trout take one of my dry flies.
